Cebu is located in Visayas in Philippines. Cebu is not visited by many travelers but there are still several interesting things to see here. We only have information about a few highlights around Cebu though.
Cebu is served by the Mactan-Cebu International Airport.
The Mactan Cebu International Airport serves the city of Cebu and Cebu Province in the Visayas region in the Philippines. It is the second largest airport in the Philippines handling over five million passengers a year, most of them international passengers as Cebu Airport is the second gateway into the country after Manila International Airport. All modern facilities like duty-free and souvenir shops, restaurants, money exchange and car rental are available at Cebu Airport. Travelers often prefer entering the Philippines through Cebu instead of Manila as this is a more modern, convenient and less congested airport and well connected to popular domestic destinations.
There are no public transportation options at Cebu International airport forcing you to take a taxi. A taxi into Cebu City will take about a half hour and would cost around PHP 200 to 300. The better hotels have a free pickup and delivery service.
